Garden
Thank you to Mrs. Bortz's for her time and strength today. She was able to help us set up our class garden. We made our first observations and can't wait to see what our beautiful garden will produce.

Note from Mrs. Husketh
Club was fortunate to receiving a gardening grant that paid
for the construction of 9 raised garden beds outside of the art room. Students
will be tending these gardens and growing vegetables to share with our
community. In looking at my gardening collection, I realized I needed to write a
grant to increase our variety and level of gardening books. If you would like to
support the grant, please go to this link: https://ioby.org/project/literary-garden
Thank you,
Mrs. Husketh

First 9 days!
I cannot believe we have already completed the first 9 days of school. This year is going to be great! The students are doing a wonderful job mixing and adjusting to their new community of learning and growth. I cannot wait to see what amazing things we will accomplish together this year!
If you still have any forms that need to be completed and returned to school please do so as soon as possible.
Many of the students have been asking about a website I viewed one day with them called Brain PopJr. Here is the link if you would like to check it out. BrainPopJr
We were also able to share in the viewing of some of the Manatees at the South Florida museum. If you wish you can follow these Manatees by viewing their live web cam found here. Thank you Sammi for sharing this with us!
