November Research

We used pebblego.com to research different Native American Indians and Thanksgiving. 

How to's are great fun!

We have been busy learning about and writing informational narratives. We have learned how to tie shoes, make pizza, make dirt in a cup, and blow bubbles with bubble gum. This was a very fun unit  that the students really enjoyed. 

Ronald McDonald House

Our second graders collected a bunch of materials for the Ronald McDonald House here in Durham. Thank you to all who sent in donations they were truly grateful for our generosity. 

Field Trip

Here we are at the Carolina Theather seeing a Hispanich Heritage performance. Don't we look nice in our class t-shirts?

Sound Final Project

We have been busy working on creating our own Glogs on the computers to finalize our sound unit. The students did great working in groups and using the computers to complete this project. Hopefully there will be a link very soon so you can see your child's work.
